Emergency Preparedness and Response for Buildings Trainings

INTRODUCTION

Emergency situations can be fire, chemical spill, toxic release, flood, earthquake and etc. Costs related to emergencies can significantly impact an organization’s financial health. A significant amount of money has been lost in many parts of the world due to the effects of emergencies. Apart from reducing spending on emergencies, an effective response to any types of emergencies will also result in fewer and less severe injuries or illnesses or damages to properties.

Emergencies have to be managed. A well-established and implemented emergency management program always helps in reducing injuries, ill-health and damage to properties. In the long run, it has the capability to enhance the overall health and safety performance and also the business continuity of the organization.

This training has been specially designed to deal with the specific issues of emergency management in an organization and to take the necessary approaches to establish, implement and maintain it in line with the ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standard and also Business Continuity Management.

The participants will be also exposed to the method to manage organization’s emergency response teams and some individual skills to face emergency situations.
